WebGetting to Camp Orkila We are located on Orcas Island, part of the San Juan Islands in northwest Washington state. Staff are responsible for their own transportation to Orcas Island, unless coming on the J-1 international program. WebLocated on the northwest tip of Orcas Island in Washington State, YMCA Camp Orkila has been welcoming kids and teens since 1906. With 280 acres of private beach, pristine forest and open fields, there's plenty of space for an incredible array of programs that combine age-appropriate activities with the values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.
