WebSo I've been taking aerial silks classes for a month now, and I've found my biggest issue - anytime the silks are on my hip, inner thigh, or crotch area it hurts SO MUCH. & I'm starting to think its just me - it doesnt seem to bother the other students so much. But anytime we do something that is in that area - I just can't do it, it hurts too ... WebThat will go away after a few weeks of regular classes. Aerial can cause bruising because of the pressure and squeezing of body parts that don't normally get touched like aerial does. In silks, a lot of people's feet hurt early on with the footlocks. All the bruising/footlock pain will take a few months to get used to.
