The Taylor Made web site tells me the angle on the P is 43 and A at 49 degrees. Can someone confirm that the angles is on those clubs?

So option A, you have at least the 1/2" or so offset the strongest point. This is why I or C beams are used more often for structural support, the shape prevents torquing/twisting.
