So if you wire them each up to 4 ohm, then both into 1 amp, or 2 amps strapped, it would be a final 2 ohm load. But if you ask me, wire each down to 1 ohm, and run 2 amps separate. Another option is the Maxx Link from maxxsonics. Email them for what amps that it can and cant strap. WebSep 25, 2009 · Strapping two mono amplifiers is the same as bridging a stereo amplifier. The individual amplifier channels will "see" twice the load (half the impedance) when strapped. They will individually make the same power as they would if connected to a 1-ohm load, so the load (the speaker) will receive twice the power.
