This was news to many viewers familiar with earlier English versions of the series, which make Kaworu’s attraction to Shinji (and the latter’s intrigued confusion by the whole thing) quite clear. WebI know Netflix change some dialogue to make it similar to the orginal translation but I never notice any major changes. Asuka, Misato, Shinji, Gendo, Pen Pen and Rei VA: Both sound the same to me I never notice the difference at all. I prefer the Netflix dub when it comes to: Kaji, Maya, Ritsuko, Kaworu, Toji and Kensuke.
