I've always found going back to the gym after a lengthy time away (two weeks) results in some DOMS and a slightly decreased max lift. You'll be fine tho - no outright loss. Web5 Oct 2015 · The hardest part of having two weeks off for me was adjusting my diet accordingly. Also, despite the injury sucking, I'm glad I took two weeks rather than one. Things that have been niggling at me - small wrist/ankle pains etc - had time to fully recover.

For a more scientific point of view, I don't have the paper but supposedly you won't start losing strength until after 2 weeks.
